You’re So Vain

Come on, now. You know it’s not just me, right? We’re a society jam-packed with self-indulgence and desire to have people listen. We want to raise our voices and have them heard. And not just about the stuff that’s important. About every teensy sliver of minutiae that crosses our minds.

It’s not so bad, of course. It’s rather enjoyable, really, even when nobody is reading. And, as I often point out, better we practice writing all these vanities than annoying our friends and family by constantly talking about the bits and pieces of our daily lives. At least we’re developing some form of skill. Right?
